1 Week Weight Loss Challenge- Weekend Diet Plan for day 6-7
Hello Everyone,
It is Day 6 and we are in the last leg of our challenge. We are getting so many emails telling us how wonderful everyone is feeling after they joined in with us. If you have successfully followed the plan for 5 days, you must have felt that lovely light feeling in your bodies. To add to that joyous beginning of your weight loss journey, we are going to share a low-calorie detox plan for Day 6 and Day 7. As you all know that its weekend, so you can spend some time juicing and detoxing for yourself. All you know, a little bit of extra effort might help you shed a few kilos more! Keep your hopes alive dearies.
Go for this detox and juicing plan for the last two days of this Challenge.
Weekend Detox And Juicing Plan – Day 6-7
Early Morning Tea
As soon as you get up, boil 4-5 tulsi leaves in four glasses of water. Let the water reduce to half. Dip a Green Tea bag in it for a while and then sip it when it is luke warm. You can add lemon also to it if need be. After half an hour of having two glasses of water munch on 6 almonds.
Breakfast
Green Monster Thickie/Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
- Pears – 2 medium
- Spinach leaves – one big handful
- Cucumber – 1 big or two small
- Ginger – 1-inch piece
- Mint leaves
- Lemon – 1 lemon’s juice
When you prepare your morning tea dip apples and cucumber in water with salt and vinegar added to it. That will help clean off all the insecticides on the veggies fruits. Before making the Green Monster juice, wash them in running water and then process all ingredients in a blender. Add a pinch of black salt and pepper; shake or stir and drink. If you like your juices, smoothies and thickies ice cold, add a handful of ice cubes while blending.
Mid morning
Iced Lemon Green Tea. If you don’t want it cold have hot but no sugar or honey allowed. You can use stevia instead of sugar.
You can have coconut water too if you are not very fond of green tea.
Lunch
The Mean Red Devil Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 beetroot
- 2 round slices watermelon
- 1 red apple
- 2 carrots
- 2 tomatoes
- Handful pomegranate seeds
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon’s juice
- 6-7 leaves of basil or tulsi or pudina
The method is same as the breakfast one. Blend everything with or without ice, add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Snack
Yellow Sunset Recipe
Ingredients:
- Two round slices of pineapple or papaya
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger
Blend everything with ice as earlier.
Dinner
The Relaxing Green Beauty
Ingredients:
- 2 apples
- 4 handfuls of spinach
- 1/4 green cabbage chopped fine and blanched in salted water. (Boil water with a spoon of salt and dip cabbage in it. Take out and add in the blender.)
- 1 big or two small cucumbers
- Juice of 2 lemons
- Salt, pepper and roasted jeera powder.
Blend and enjoy.
Bed Time
Before sleeping sip on the green herbal tea ( follow the recipe or follow this link for Hibiscus Tea).
Herbal Tea Recipe
- Boil in 2 cups of water.
- 5 leaves of Tulsi crushed
- 2 leaves of pudina crushed
- 1 clove crushed
- 1 green cardamom crushed
- 1 stick cinnamon crushed
Let the water reduce to half. Sip it before sleeping for a good night sleep. Add stevia if you need a sweeter tea, otherwise cinnamon and cardamom will make it sweet enough.
Follow this Detox Juicing Plan during weekend and feel the change in your digestive system. If you have constipation then you must follow this diet as it is so full of fiber that a few days on this diet will change everything for you for good.
