As we planned our round-the-world adventure, we made every moment count. After exploring New York, Hawaii and Japan, our next planned destination was Singapore before heading back to London via Kuala Lumpur and Bali instead of staying two weeks before traveling directly there.
Are You Traveling from Singapore to Malaysia by Bus? Unfortunately, the options can be daunting and mixed online reviews can make your mind reel. While some travelers prefer flying, bus travel provides unique experiences. After conducting extensive research we decided on Transtar Travel Pte Ltd for our tickets as they provide first-class travel experience between Singapore and Malaysia; alternatively for Malay speakers visit tiket bus online for affordable tickets.
Our journey started at an Asian shopping center, with us needing beverages and snacks before embarking on our bus ride; Starbucks in Marina Bay Sands provided exactly what was necessary for this journey.

Once we arrived at the bus station, we were instructed to arrive 30 minutes early in order to present our tickets at an open-stand counter. By showing our mobile tickets at this counter, we received a simple piece of paper displaying our seat numbers
Surprisingly, our bus arrived 20 minutes earlier than scheduled with efficient staff assisting us with our luggage before departing 10 minutes earlier than planned. Everything seemed smooth thanks to their efficient system.
At first, our bus stopped at the Singapore border where we needed to exit with passports in hand and present them to border guards for stamping before waiting ten minutes on the other side before rejoining. Ten minutes later, the Malaysian border stopped which involved taking all luggage with us through similar security processes that run like clockwork! Everything ran smoothly!
Traveling from Singapore to Malaysia by bus was an enjoyable and relaxing experience, featuring comfortable seats, friendly staff, and even a meal of fish and rice! Although my view was restricted to highways rather than airport chaos, traveling this way proved more worthwhile when considering all of the time spent waiting in airports than taking the bus route.
Don’t forget to get travel insurance for your trip—get coverage for:
• Medical emergencies
• Stolen or lost goods
• Canceled flights and more
I’ve been using VISITORS COVERAGE for years and highly recommend it!
On our arrival to Kuala Lumpur, we were dropped off near a mall before taking a taxi ride to THE FACE SUITES hotel, discovered via Instagram. With one of the city’s most picturesque pools onsite and modern and spacious accommodations – featuring kitchen facilities, laundry machines and complimentary breakfast with an amazing view – this journey began brilliantly!
Stay tuned for my next post where I will detail what to do in Kuala Lumpur when you have only three days to explore this vibrant city!
