PeachTree trolley tours: Discover all about Atlanta's attractions

What is the first thing you must do when in a new place? Aside from the obvious of getting settled into your hotel room. Get on a Trolley Tour and get a taste of what the location has to offer, learn some history, and get yourself full acquainted with the place. Here you’ll learn all you need to do about PeachTree Trolley Tours in Atlanta

This is practically a full-proof way to make sure you see the highlights, ask all the right questions to the guide, and know where you want to focus your exploration time.

We got hooked on taking trolleys and hop on, hop off tours from our time in Boston. Since then we have done it whenever possible. Yes, I prefer to do the Atlanta hop on hop off service, this way you can enjoy the different attractions and get back on. But some cities don’t offer that service, and that’s fine.

But no matter what, and take my advice on this really seriously, take a trolley tour it will totally change your time at your new destination.

This is exactly what we did when we arrived in Atlanta (also, check out The Shellmont Inn, is an amazing place). Peachtree Trolley Tours is a new addition to Atlanta. Before them, nothing like it existed. But now I am telling you, this needs to be the first thing on your agenda. 90 minutes with them will not only orient you, but give you depth and knowledge about the city you are visiting.

Atlanta PeachTree Trolley Tour

The day we took our tour, we were actually really lucky. For one, it was an insane cold front, so being on a warm trolley was awesome. Plus, due to the cold, most people decided not to leave their homes and hotel rooms, and we were the only ones on the tour. Making it a VIP experience.

Our guides, the driver and Sally, were really knowledgeable and seemed to be enjoying the tour as much as we were.

We started off in Downtown Atlanta, passing all the major attractions and then heading out further to see the Braves Stadium.

But most importantly, Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center – this place is open to the public, and it’s totally free

But the best part of the tour for us really was all the information we learned about this great city.
