Here are some of the destinations for the NCAA Tournament

The best part about the NCAA Tournament is when fans of college basketball decide to travel to different parts of the country and cheer on their respective basketball team or just go for the fun of March Madness and sports altogether. Traveling could be one of the best things to do at this time of year and they are memories that will last a lifetime.

There are some cities that are nicer than others and people are entitled to their own opinions on it. No matter where teams land or travel to in the NCAA Tournament, the March Madness betting odds will remain the same for the top teams or they will change a little bit. Where are some of the places to potentially go to and check out during the NCAA Tournament?

Dayton, Ohio

Every year in the NCAA Tournament, the First Four is played in Dayton, Ohio. Games will be played on Tuesday, March 15th, and Wednesday, March 16th. The University of Dayton hosts these basketball games every single year and they play in the A10. The games will be played at UD Arena.

For these basketball games, it is usually two 16 vs 16 matchups, and two other matchups featuring 12 vs 12 or 11 vs 11 seeds. Dayton, Ohio is a little bit over an hour’s drive east to Columbus, Ohio.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be hosts of the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament which will be played on Friday, March 18th, and Sunday, March 20th. These basketball games will be played at the Fiserv Forum which is home to the Milwaukee Bucks (NBA). The Marquette Golden Eagles are not far from the area either.

They play in the BIG EAST Conference. There is not a whole lot to check out in the area otherwise when coming to this city.

Buffalo, New York

Buffalo, New York will be hosts of the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament which will be played on Thursday, March 17th, and Saturday, March 19th. These basketball games will be played at KeyBank Arena which is home to the Buffalo Sabers in the NHL. The University of Buffalo is not from the area as well.

Niagara Falls, New York is a nice destination to check out when not watching the college basketball teams. The border of Canada isn’t far either from Buffalo, New York.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will be hosts of the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament which will be played on Friday, March 18th, and Sunday, March 19th. PPG Paints Arena is where these basketball games will be played and it is home to the Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL).

Duquesne University is literally next door to the arena and the University of Pittsburgh is not far from there either. There are cool museums and other attractions to visit in the area when not watching college basketball.

San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio, Texas will be home to the Sweet 16 and the Elite 8 of the South Region. These basketball games will be played on Thursday, March 24th, and Saturday, March 26th at the A T & T Center which is home to the San Antonio Spurs (NBA). The University of Texas at San Antonio will host these basketball games and their college is not from there either.

If you enjoy the hot temperatures of Texas, this is the perfect destination for you then. There are many enjoyable destinations in the area.

New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans, Louisiana is the final destination for March Madness. The Final Four will be on Saturday, April 2nd, and the National Championship Game will be Monday, April 4th.

These basketball games will be played at the Caesars Superdome, which is home to the New Orleans Saints (NFL). They have always been doing the Final Four as of late at football stadiums for some odd reason.
