Green-Wood Cemetery
Green-Wood offers natural wonders, which in themselves make it a must-visit location in New York City. On the ground, visitors can take trolley tours to explore the cemetery and discover its permanent residents, which include Leonard Bernstein, Boss Tweed, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
The Bronx Zoo
Final location on our list, the Bronx Zoo may not be the least known site in New York City. However, since it is the largest metropolitan zoo in the United States, it made it easy to insert on this list. It is home to more than 4,000 animals representing over 650 species. A visit no one will regret having taken time for, no doubt.
