Instead of replacing their run-down shed, @modernjane opted to give it a makeover. The DIY updates included board-and-batten trim on the exterior walls, replacing the fascia, re-shingling the roof, installing a new deck and giving the entire thing a coat of bold black paint.

Finishing touches like the sleek wood planters and an exterior light transformed the shed into a showpiece.
